Lara Ebjadough joined Elkheir Partners as a paralegal while completing her Bachelor of Communications (Creative Writing)/Laws at the University of Technology Sydney, where she is due to graduate and be admitted in Spring 2026. She supports matters across family law and wills and estates, from consulting clients through to preparing files.
Lara’s interest in family law took shape early. While studying, she received hands-on exposure, working for a Family Law Accredited Specialist with over four decades of experience. This helped her develop both the technical foundations and client-facing instincts that serious family law practice demands. Lara understands that the people who walk through the door in family law matters are rarely at their best, and she approaches every client interaction with that in mind.
What distinguishes Lara’s approach is a parallel grounding in creative writing: a discipline that has sharpened her ability to listen carefully, communicate clearly and read the emotional register of a conversation. In a practice area where how something is said matters almost as much as what is said, this combination genuinely sets her apart.
Lara is committed to making difficult legal processes feel as manageable as possible for the people going through them. Clients often comment on her attention to detail, as well as her ability to articulate complex and sensitive subject matter, clearly and thoughtfully.
